First round of seeds

This post is a little late. We actually planted this first round on March 2nd. It consisted of:
  • 3 varieties Albanian peppers (from our friend Ermal)
  • tangerine pimiento sweet pepper
  • hidalgo chile
  • early jalapeno chile
  • german queen tomato
  • red pear cherry tomato
  • green zebra tomato

Yup, this is a super ghetto set up. But it is working. And yup, the Williams is completely necessary.

Experimenting with plastic covers over the peat seedling trays. We also added an electric heating pad under the peppers. Last year they seemed to be too cold, and took about a month to germinate. This year with the heater it took a little under two weeks.
