So awesome how the strips look like they were woven over and under each other, but they were actually stitched in pieces that way. Also amazing that the artist used scraps of her mother's fabric has a way to honor and remember a loved family member. Plus, pinks and greens, my favorite color combination! I am so inspired to see non-traditional quilts, and recycling of materials. Updates on my first quilt to come soon....
